Job summary

PAE, an engineering and design firm, seeks a Plumbing Design Engineer in Portland, OR. You will develop understanding of plumbing system design, modeling, and documentation, and use Revit and AutoCAD to draft drawings and details.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering, EIT or ability to obtain, internship preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills. The role offers a base salary range of $68,600–$82,800 with hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Revit/AutoCAD proficiency.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of plumbing system design, modeling and documentation.
• Develop proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution and Plumbing.
• Develop understanding of drawings, specifications, building codes, and plumbing design industry standards.
• Complete assigned work with instruction from project team members.
• Assist with construction administration.
• Perform mechanical calculations and performance simulations.
• Design layout of plumbing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
