Job summary

PAE is seeking an Entry-Level Plumbing Design Engineer to join our San Francisco team in a hybrid office environment. Under mentorship you will learn to design and model plumbing distribution systems using Revit and AutoCAD, and you will support project teams with drawings, specifications, and codes.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and attention to detail, with a Bachelor’s in Engineering and an Engineer in Training or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain preferred.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail essential.
• Strong organization and time management, with clear communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop plumbing system design, modeling and documentation.
• Assist with engineering distribution and Plumbing tasks.
• Learn drawings, specs, building codes and industry standards.
• Support project teams with assignments and follow instructions.
• Perform mechanical calculations and performance simulations.
• Design layout of plumbing systems and assist with construction administration.
