Job summary

Dixie Tech is hiring a Plumbing Instructor to lead lectures and hands-on labs in the Plumbing Apprenticeship program at their St. George, Utah campus.

The role focuses on delivering engaging instruction, updating curricula, and ensuring a dynamic learning environment that prepares students for industry certification and employment. The instructor will coordinate with Student Services, maintain compliance with FERPA and COE accreditation standards, and help recruit and mentor adjunct instructors

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience are required.
• Teaching/training experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and hands-on lab instruction; develop and update curriculum.
• Establish objectives and competencies for the program.
• Ensure classroom and lab readiness for daily activities.
• Manage student performance and provide feedback; conduct reviews.
• Coordinate with department and VP of Instruction; adhere to accreditation standards.
