Dixie Tech in St. George, Utah, seeks an experienced Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor to lead lectures and hands-on labs, develop curricula, and ensure COE accreditation compliance. Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in industry required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or Industry Recognized Certificate Program completion
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Teaching/training experience preferred
• Contacts with local industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications
• Strong communications and presentation skills
• The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on lab instruction; develop curriculum and lesson plans.
• Establish clear objectives and competencies for the program.
• Prepare classrooms and labs for daily learning activities.
• Schedule industry professionals for presentations and training.
• Supervise, recruit, and train adjunct instructors.
• Ensure COE accreditation standards and safety compliance.
• Maintain program records and assist with admissions and advising.
