Job summary

Ray Page Plumbing INC in Vernon, CT is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice for residential service work. You will perform minor to moderately complex plumbing tasks under supervision, gaining hands-on experience with a range of domestic systems.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, with some overtime and potential bonuses. Compensation is $18.00–$25.00 per hour, plus company benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of plumbing field experience or equivalent training.
• Connecticut Apprentice Plumber License preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent customer interaction and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential service plumbing under supervision of Journeyman or Master Plumber.
• Repair and install showers, fixtures, water heaters and related plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Drain cleaning using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Utilize Service Titan for work orders and documentation.

Plumbing Apprentice - Residential Service | $18.00 to $25.00 per hour Depending on experience + Spiffs / Bonuses. We pay based on experience

What You Will Be Doing

• Residential service plumbing
• Repairs and installs of showers fixtures, kitchen equipment, hot water heaters, and other heating, and drainage systems in compliance with applicable plumbing codes
• Assist with troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing maintenance and repairs on plumbing and piping systems, including the removal of blockages from drain and waste lines
• Perform drain cleaning services using appropriate tools and equipment
• Utilize Service Titan daily for work orders, customer information, scheduling, documentation, and job tracking

What We Are Looking For

• At least 6 months of plumbing field experience, or an equivalent mix of training and hands-on work experience
• Connecticut Apprentice Plumber License - preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities
• Excellent customer interaction and communication skills
• Proficient in the use of common plumbing tools and equipment, including drain snakes, augers, power drills, saws, hammers, tape measures, levels, and screwdrivers
• Solid basic math and measurement skills
• Capable of following direction and guidance from a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber
• Valid driver's license with a driving history that meets insurance requirements
• Able and willing to perform work outdoors in varying weather conditions
