Job summary

Townsend Energy in Massachusetts is seeking a service plumber for residential plumbing service, repair, and installation, with a focus on heating, water, and drainage systems. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of fixtures and systems, including water heaters and boilers, while upholding code compliance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License or eligibility, 5+ years of experience, strong communication, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential plumbing service and installation experience.
• Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License required, or eligibility to obtain licensing.
• Experience with boilers and hydronic heating systems preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide residential plumbing service, repair, and installation for homeowners.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems in accordance with plumbing codes and specifications.
• Repair and install fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures including water heaters, dishwashers, sinks, and toilets.
• Utilize soldering, brazing, and welding equipment as needed to complete plumbing repairs and installations.
• Communicate repair recommendations and upgrade options clearly and professionally with customers.
• Perform minor to major re-pipe projects with attention to quality workmanship and efficiency.

Service Plumber | $42.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Schedule Monday through Friday

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm
