Job summary

Ventura Unified School District is seeking qualified plumbers to perform installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures across district buildings. This vacancy includes 8 hours per day, 12 months per year and to establish an eligibility list to fill future vacancies.

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, duties involve journey-level plumbing work, backflow testing, and maintaining water heating systems; requires a high school diploma and 4 years of experience; a valid CA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years professional-level experience in installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled plumbing work under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
• Install, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in District buildings.
• Test backflow devices and maintain water heating systems.
