Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking a Plumber/Steampipe Fitter to inspect and repair plumbing systems for heating, water, gas and drainage. You will also maintain medical air and suction systems and medical gas piping, and service hydronic heating/cooling systems on site.

Requires four years of experience or 240 hours of vocational training, with Journeyman Plumber licensure within 90 days; Master Plumber preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman Plumber licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Four years of relevant plumbing experience or 240 hours of vocational training; Master Plumber preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures for heating, water, gas and drainage systems.
• Operate, maintain and repair medical air and suction systems and medical gas distribution piping.
• Maintain and repair hydronic heating and cooling systems.
