Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Seattle is seeking PLM Developers at junior to senior levels to build Teamcenter customizations, extensions, and integrations as part of a large modernization for an Aerospace & Defense OEM. You will work on ITK, SOA, and Active Workspace within a blended onshore–offshore AI-powered software factory.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain code, mentor juniors on complex components, and ensure quality within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of hands-on Teamcenter customizations and extensions.
• Proven ability to mentor and own complex components.
• Solid programming and testing discipline with CI/CD integration.

• Build and enhance AI-assisted, agent-ready services and APIs.

About the role you're considering

Capgemini is hiring PLM Developers across junior, intermediate and senior bands to build Teamcenter customizations, extensions and integrations on a large, complex PLM modernization for a major Aerospace & Defense OEM, within a blended onshore–offshore team and an AI-Powered software factory.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and maintain Teamcenter customizations and extensions using ITK, SOA, and Active Workspace (AWC) to support complex business and engineering requirements.
• Build and enhance AI-assisted, agent-ready services and APIs,
• Write testable, documented code; unit-test and support performance / security validation within CI/CD.

Your skills and experience

• 3-7+ years of experience in build Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace / AWC).
• Owns complex extensions and agent-ready services; mentors; deep Teamcenter.
• Use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified.
• Implement integrations and migration utilities to technical design.
• Solid programming (Java / C++ / web) and testing discipline.
• Aerospace & Defense or regulated-industry background.
