Job summary

Amperesand, Inc. is seeking a PLM Analyst to join the Reno, NV IT team onsite. You will own day-to-day administration and support of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its integration with engineering, manufacturing, and business systems.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers, IT, and business stakeholders to keep CAD data and change/release workflows accurate and secure as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PLM/PDM administration or support in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD data management and at least one CAD tool (CATIA and/or SOLIDWORKS).
• Understanding of engineering change, release processes, BOM management, and product data structures.
• Familiarity with integrating PLM to ERP and/or manufacturing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Onsite work requirement: five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain the 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA platform, including users, roles, security and lifecycle.
• Support CAD and PDM tools in the Dassault ecosystem (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, DELMIA, and 3DX apps).
• Manage engineering data, BOM structures, and document control; support ECR/ECO workflows.
• Configure and test platform upgrades/patches; document rollouts for production.
• Build integrations between 3DX and ERP, MES, and identity/SSO via Entra ID.
• Perform regular system monitoring and ensure data integrity and availability.
• Lead troubleshooting and vendor escalations with Dassault and others.
• Onboard/train users; write technical/end-user documentation.
• Gather feedback with engineering leadership to improve PLM processes.
• Track and resolve PLM requests via ticketing system.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality.
