The PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solution Architect in the semiconductor industry plays a crucial role in designing and implementing effective solutions to manage product development, manufacturing, and lifecycle processes. The key responsibilities and skills associated with this role include:

1. Experience: 15 years in Teamcenter implementation
2. Industry domain: Semiconductor

Designing and Developing PLM Customizations:

• Analyzing business requirements and understanding the unique needs of semiconductor design, NPI, and manufacturing processes.
• Configuring and automating workflows within Teamcenter.
• Collaborating with subject matter experts to address complex bug issues in production systems or applications.

System Architecture Assessment and Improvement:

• Designing system architecture and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Designing integration interfaces with existing applications.
• Working closely with technical staff to recommend solutions that improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency.

End-to-End Solution Design:

• Gathering business process requirements related to semiconductor design, NPI, and manufacturing.
• Preparing detailed functional specifications and advising offshore teams on efficient implementation.

High-Level Architecture and Solutioning:

• Collaborating with relevant architects, subject matter experts, and project management teams.
• Mapping services and software to meet customer requirements.
• Creating high-level architecture/solution options, work breakdown structures, project timelines, cost estimates, and risk assessments.

Technical Troubleshooting and Support:

• Solving technical problems during Teamcenter implementation.
• Providing expertise in resolving issues related to Teamcenter customizations and configurations.
