Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is hiring for a PLM Functional Consultant/Business Analyst to support a Teamcenter-based PLM modernization project in a hybrid Seattle setting. You will bridge engineering and manufacturing users, map functional scope, and validate builds within a blended onshore–offshore team.

Roles range from junior to senior and involve capturing requirements, leading workshops, and identifying AI use cases. Collaboration across teams is essential in this dynamic program.

Qualifications

• 2 to 10 years of experience as PLM Functional Consultant/BA (junior to senior).
• Ability to capture requirements and map functional scope in engineering context.
• Understanding core PLM processes: BOM, change control, configuration, process planning.
• Experience leading workshops and AI use cases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture and structure functional requirements from engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Map legacy PDM/process-planning scope onto Teamcenter capabilities.
• Document as-is / to-be processes including change control and work-instruction flows.
• Support configuration, test and validation of the Teamcenter solution against requirements.
• Collaborate with onshore–offshore team; senior band runs workshops and scope mapping.
