Job summary
Energy + Environmental Economics (E3) is seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant to work on cutting-edge energy policy and market analysis. You will develop PLEXOS models (ST) and capacity expansion (LT) studies, collaborate with a team of experts, and deliver client-ready analyses and reports.

Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in engineering, economics, computer science, optimization, public policy or related field
- 3-5+ years of related experience in an energy-related field
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with energy/climate topics and modeling tools
Responsibilities
- Develop PLEXOS production simulation (ST) and/or capacity expansion (LT) models for multi-year client questions
- Strategize modeling approaches with PLEXOS modeling team and project leads
- Gather data from clients and translate into modeling inputs
- Perform QA/QC on simulation cases and refine model setups
- Translate results into clear visual representations and present findings to customers
