Job summary

Henniges Automotive has an opportunity for an ERP Business Analyst at our Auburn Hills, MI location. The ERP Business Analyst will help with day-to-day activities and continuous improvement initiatives of our Plex ERP system as well as acting as a liaison between the end-user and the provider regarding the design, build and implementation of new solutions across multiple locations. The position will collaborate with IT professionals and business users to analyze, document, and propose technical solutions for automotive manufacturing locations globally. The ERP Business Analyst will perform required ongoing support and maintenance activities to ensure proper, efficient, and effective use of Plex and other business critical applications related to Plex.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Analyze and document business processes.
• Provide the link between the end-user and programming team regarding solution functionality, throughout the project and/or application development lifecycle.
• Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts, including the coordination of project and user staff in the execution of the test plan.
• Day-to-day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist in resolution of support issues and challenges.
• Produce status reports showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Occasional travel up to 50% to global manufacturing plant locations will be required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Education

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Business.

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in ERP software implementation.
• 2 years of Plex implementation and/or ongoing support experience.
• 2 years of EDI experience with multiple formats (X12, EDIFACT, VDA, Odette) VANs (Covisint, GXS) and customer portals (VW, BMW) is a plus.
• Experience developing queries, SQL reports, Excel spreadsheets with ODBC integration or other reporting tools is a plus.
• Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business systems. Proven experience leading and implementing a project across multiple locations.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize several projects as required.
• Collaborative and team-oriented individual who is able to meet tight timelines.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
