Plante Moran is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Digital Transformation Services to lead ERP and business transformation projects for automotive suppliers in North America. You will drive process improvements, implement Plex ERP, and work closely with clients in Japanese and English to deliver value across operations.

The role emphasizes functional expertise, workshop facilitation, and cross‑team collaboration to achieve data-driven outcomes and successful go‑live events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years in digital transformation, ERP consulting, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or supplier environments is required.
• Experience working for or supporting Japanese-owned manufacturing companies is required.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation and ERP implementation projects for manufacturing clients, primarily automotive suppliers.
• Serve as a functional consultant in Order Fulfillment, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Production processes.
• Facilitate workshops and gather client requirements in Japanese and English.
• Analyze current-state operations and design future-state processes aligned with industry best practices.
• Lead process improvements for operational efficiency, standardization, and supply chain performance.
• Support Plex ERP implementation and related manufacturing technologies.
• Develop solution designs, BRDs, process maps, training materials, and other deliverables.
• Support data migration, validation, reporting, and system integration activities.
• Deliver end-user and super-user training in Japanese and English.
• Support proposals, business development, and client demonstrations.
