Job summary

Donaldson Company is hiring a Machine Operator on 2nd shift in Dixon, IL. You will pleat media to specs, ensure quality, and supply media for filter assembly. The role requires reading blueprints, operating production equipment, and performing quality checks.

The position offers an hourly rate of $21.35 with an annual incentive plan and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate and interact constructively with all plant employees.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to operate computer systems.
• Ability to utilize gauges, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures.
• Exhibit mechanical aptitude and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media pleating process.
• Pleat media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints.
• Communicate with material handlers to ensure correct media is supplied to the line.
• Perform quality checks and tests and follow setup sheets.
• Monitor production online and notify Team Leader of rate variations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies.
