Job summary

Donaldson Company in Cresco, IA is seeking a Lead Operator to follow SOPs, operate multiple lines, and ensure quality in multimedia filter production. The role requires use of hand tools and measurement devices, with attention to safety and efficiency for a 2nd shift schedule.

Starting pay is $27.05/hr (base rate plus $1.50 shift differential). Benefits include medical, dental, 401k, HSA, and paid time off. Candidates must pass pre-hire screenings and a 60-day probation period.

Qualifications

• Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.
• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees while following Donaldson company policies/procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal and adapt to change.
• Lift 25lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble multimedia filters according to SOPs and operate machinery.
• Inspect parts with calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, adhesives, and media cutting equipment safely.
• Record labor, production, scrap, and other data in production systems.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols throughout the plant.
• Maintain organized work area and perform preventive maintenance.
• Move between lines/positions as needed, including ergonomic rotations.
• Assist with training or mentorship of employees in training.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT, safety and company policies.
