Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Specialist - IT Terminal Automation to implement automation projects and provide 24x7 support for loading and off-loading terminals. Primary duties include PLC configuration and programming, troubleshooting, installation, and vendor coordination to ensure system availability.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2–5 years in PLC programming or terminal automation, travel up to 20%, and readiness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering/IT.
PLC programming and terminal automation experience.
Analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

Configure, program, implement and maintain PLC systems and related interfaces.
Collect and document requirements for new or modified solutions.
Develop automation changes and ensure 24x7 system availability.
Coordinate with vendors to meet service levels and objectives.
