Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Senior Terminal Technology Specialist to oversee operation, integration, and upgrades of Terminal Automation Systems across sites. You’ll monitor, train, and support users while coordinating with IT and Operations teams to ensure reliable performance and data integrity.

The role requires deep knowledge of terminal automation, databases, and client-server tech, with travel up to 25% and a focus on problem solving and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years Windows administration experience.
• 5+ years of related experience including terminal or fuel-related applications.
• Experience with Terminal Automation Systems, databases, client-server tech and browser apps.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Monitor or perform activities and corrections for Terminal Automation Systems.
• Monitor, perform and document internal audits of processes and systems.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations and management as needed.
• Learn, train on new information technologies for terminal automation; share knowledge.
• Develop and deliver training for users on existing and updated systems.
• Work with disaster recovery and test backup procedures.
• Modify and implement changes across terminals.
• Integrate new terminal data and support large integrations with Operations.
• Act as liaison between Global and support vendors and provide on-call support.
