Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a PLC Programmer for Plainwell, MI to design and optimize automated control systems in a manufacturing setting. You’ll develop PLC logic, implement operator HMIs, and test programs for reliable production.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens). Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, function blocks, and industrial protocols.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) in manufacturing.
Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
Strong understanding of EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP.
Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interface and control.
Perform electrical schematic review and provide input for control panel design.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements and specifications.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of PLC programs and system functionality.
