Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge for its Minnesota facility. The role offers $33-$40 per hour on either the 1st or 2nd shift, with a typical 45-hour work week and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
  • Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify signs of malfunction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running at peak levels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components using schematics and drawings.
  • Coordinate with the production team to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work with accurate records.
  • Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with tools and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to share knowledge and solve complex problems.
