Job summary

Jobot is seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians with PLC knowledge for our manufacturing operation in Sherman, TX. The role emphasizes troubleshooting and repair across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include inspecting machinery, performing preventative maintenance, repairing hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems, coordinating with production to minimize downtime, and documenting work.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.
  • Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of tools, including power and hand tools, for maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running at peak levels of performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components, utilizing schematics and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with the production team to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work, maintaining accurate records for reference and reporting.
  • Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to share knowledge and solve complex problems.
