Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge to support die casting machines and machine shop operations. The role includes electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance, plus some fabrication work. A 2nd shift is available with a quarterly bonus and competitive hourly pay of $33-$40.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related experience, and preferably a trade certificate or journeyman status. BMCT testing is required to qualify.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school certificate or journeyman status preferred.
• Must pass BMCT testing.
• Makino experience and die casting background preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and diagnostic skills.
• Foundry environment exposure with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems on die cast machines, including preventive maintenance.
• Operate machine shop equipment: lathes, drill presses, saws, hand tools, meters, gauges, micrometers.
• Program PLCs for die cast and trim press operations; troubleshoot issues.
• Support die maintenance and machine shop work areas.
• Communicate with supervisors to keep projects and repairs moving.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
