Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking an Industrial Controls and PLC Maintenance Technologist to lead electrical diagnostics and PLC programming on 480V systems. You will diagnose faults, read schematics, and repair components while documenting work in FIXX CMMS.

Requirements include formal electronics training, at least 5 years hands-on experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role demands safety compliance, 5S, and occasional after‑hours/off‑site support to keep production running.

Qualifications

• Formal electronics training and hands-on experience.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Journeyman’s card preferred; associate degree helpful.

Responsabilités

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Modicon, Square D).
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits to component level with diagrams.
• Operate test equipment on 480V and below; work on three‑phase circuits.
• Document work in FIXX CMMS with clear notes; close tasks.
• Provide tooling and 5S discipline; support plant reliability and safety.
• Communicate status, timelines, and ETAs; be available for overtime/call‑ins.
