Job summary

Bosch USA in Kentucky is seeking a PLC Controls Technician to design, program, troubleshoot and maintain PLC-driven systems using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal while supporting manufacturing with diagnostics and improvements. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

This role involves collaborating with maintenance, engineering and operations to boost equipment reliability, and working with Rexroth/Siemens servo drives as well as Cognex and Keyence vision systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field.
3+ years in industrial automation and maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
Experience with PLC programming languages and robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, program, and maintain PLC systems to standards.
Develop and support HMI applications for equipment.
Troubleshoot complex automation issues and implement fixes.
Modify PLC programs and interface communications with devices.
Troubleshoot vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) and servo drives (Rexroth, Siemens).
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations to improve reliability.
Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and general maintenance tasks.
Identify issues and communicate findings to Controls Engineers.
