Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Austin, TX seeks a Controls Engineer with Siemens TIA Portal expertise to design and build automation and robotic equipment. You will own projects from concept to installation, integrating hardware and software.

Training is provided to align with internal standards and processes. The role requires 1–2 years of TIA Portal experience and the ability to work in a team, with emphasis on either PLC or robotics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
1–2 years of experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
Strong in PLC or robotics (not necessarily both).

Responsibilities

Design and build automation and robotic equipment.
Own and implement solutions from concept to installation.
Perform electrical design/layout, software design/programming, and debugging.
Conduct factory acceptance testing and integration.
Stay current with evolving technologies and standards.
