Job summary

Kable Workforce Solutions is seeking a Siemens CNC Control Engineer in Hebron, KY to write and maintain control and software code, integrate CNC and PLC systems, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical and software issues across projects.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering and 5+ years of controls experience, with proficiency in C/C++, IEC 61131-3 languages, and experience using TIA Portal and STEP 7. Travel is less than 10% and relocation is available.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Electrical or Computer) or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of controls and software programming experience preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency.
• Willing to travel up to 10% and relocation available.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop control software for gantry and robotic applications.
• Integrate CNC and PLC systems using Siemens platforms (TIA Portal, STEP 7).
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical and software issues across systems.
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews to improve performance.
• Utilize OPC-UA, Modbus-TCP, and databases for data exchange.
