Job summary

EdgeBeam Wireless, LLC is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to own the Playwright-driven CI/CD pipeline, integrating API and UI tests across features. You will ensure fast PR feedback, broad nightly coverage, and mentor a growing test team.

Based in Boston, you will collaborate in person to strengthen the pipeline, expand test automation, and drive data-driven quality across services and platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years writing and maintaining automated tests in production environments.
• Deep, hands-on Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript) for API and UI testing.
• Experience running Playwright at scale through CI/CD — sharding, parallelization, retries.
• Familiarity with test result aggregation tooling and test case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the CI/CD test pipeline and decide gating in PRs vs nightly builds.
• Define test tag conventions and runtime targets for fast PR feedback.
• Integrate Playwright with test result aggregation and case management systems.
• Enforce selector hygiene to ensure tests survive UI changes.
• Write and maintain API and UI tests across features and platforms.
• Collaborate on Outside-In TDD and promote AI-assisted triage workflows.
• Lead test quality across the team and mentor others.
