Durham County Council is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor for Etherley Lane Nursery and Primary School in Durham. This fixed-term, part-time role runs 7.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible, with a retainer for school closure periods in line with NJC Green Book.
The successful candidate will supervise pupils at lunchtime, lead activities, support behaviour management, and promote safety and welfare. DBS disclosure is required, with disability accommodations available where possible.
Permanent Contract – Part Time – 7.5 hours per week – 11:30 to 13:00 Term Time Only Required to start as soon as possible.

The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and cheerful Lunchtime Supervisor to ensure the care and well-being of pupils in the dining hall and playground/field.
The successful candidate ideally will have experience of working with children, be flexible, be able to work well within a team and be willing to undertake training.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
