Job summary

A leading recruitment organization is seeking an Outside Sales Representative passionate about selling recreation equipment. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of B2B sales experience, strong presentation skills, and familiarity with CRM software. This full-time position supports a base salary plus uncapped commissions, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. This role requires a valid Playground Safety Inspector Certification or a willingness to obtain it. Travel within the territory is essential.

Qualifications

• Min. 5+ years B2B Sales experience selling playground equipment, outdoor recreation, construction, and/or building materials.
• Playground Safety Inspector Certification (CPSI) required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Experience with a long sales cycle and RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting in the field for new clients and building existing relationships.
• Conducting presentations for small and large clients.

Job Overview

Our client is a leading supplier of recreation equipment. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative that is extremely driven to sell a product they can be excited and passionate about within their set/protected territory.

Responsibilities

You will be prospecting in the field for new prospects as well as building existing relationships. Presentations are made to small and large clients (Lunch and Learns); therefore you must possess strong presentation skills and be comfortable selling a complex product with a longer sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Min. 5+ years B2B Sales experience selling playground equipment, outdoor recreation, construction and/or building materials required
• Experience selling new business as well as relationship sales
• Playground Safety Inspector Certification (CPSI) required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Experience with a long sales cycle, RFPs
• Excellent presentation skills (small and large groups)
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Solid experience with CRM, Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to travel within territory
