Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort in Dumfries, Virginia is seeking a Shift Manager, Player Services-Ex to supervise the player services team and ensure compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations. You will also be the guest contact and manage key Player Card data.

Responsibilities include leading staff, training, scheduling, auditing, and protecting company assets while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years in high-volume cash operations.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; Ten Key adding machine experience.
• Virginia Racing Commission License required.
• Strong communication with the public.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Player Services team and ensure guest service aligns with policy and procedures.
• Motivate, train, coach, and mentor staff; manage schedules and daily operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
• Assist with audits, deposit preparation, and money handling to prevent losses.
• Resolve escalated guest issues and ensure accurate Player Card data entry.
