Job summary

Thrive Englewood is seeking an enthusiastic Infant Assistant Teacher to join our play-based preschool in Englewood, CO. You will work closely with the program director and team to support young learners.

The role offers full-time hours, 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, with a competitive hourly wage between $20.86 and $23.36 plus benefits. A Bachelor’s in early childhood education and Colorado experience are valued as part of our growth-focused culture.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and passion for working with young children, families, and co-teachers.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Intentional and reflective in professional practices.
• Meets or exceeds minimum qualifications for employment as an Early Childhood Lead Teacher in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in development and implementation of inquiry-based curriculum and activities.
• Cultivate a learning environment that nurtures intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and character development.
• Plan activities for children, including those with special needs, with appropriate support.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules to maintain safety and order.
• Conduct ongoing observation and developmental screenings of students.
• Support families with open communication and opportunities for involvement.
• Contribute to school-wide policies and plan for equipment and supplies; attend trainings and meetings.
