Thrive Golden is a play-based learning preschool in Golden, Colorado. We are seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher and the program director in creating engaging, child-centered experiences.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and passion for working with young children, families, and co-teachers.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Intentional and reflective professional practices.
• Meets or exceeds minimum qualifications for employment as an Early Childhood Lead Teacher in Colorado (training, experience, background check).
• Experience as a teacher at a large childcare center in Colorado.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in development and implementation of inquiry-based curriculum, documentation, and projects.
• Partner in learning with children as a collaborator and co-creator.
• Support a safe and nurturing environment in the classroom.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and safety procedures.
• Conduct ongoing observation, assessment, and developmental screenings.
