Job summary

Thrive Englewood, a play-based learning preschool in Englewood, CO, invites applications for an Infant Assistant Teacher. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 hours daily, with hourly pay between $20.86 and $23.36 plus benefits.

You’ll work closely with experienced teachers in a nurturing, child-centered environment. We seek someone with a positive attitude, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to play-based learning.

Qualifications

• > Meets minimum qualifications for employment as an Early Childhood Lead Teacher in Colorado
• > Experience as a lead teacher at a large childcare center in Colorado
• > Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a relevant field
• > Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings for events
• > Passion for play-based learning and supporting young children

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in developing and implementing inquiry-based curriculum.
• Cultivate a learning environment that supports diverse needs and learning styles.
• Plan activities for children with special needs with support from specialists.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules to maintain safety and order.
• Conduct ongoing observation and developmental screenings of students.
• Support families with regular communication and involvement.
• Contribute to school-wide policies and planning with program leadership
