Thrive Englewood is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to join our play-based learning preschool in Englewood, Colorado. This full-time hourly role (Mon-Fri, 8 hours) offers competitive pay and benefits, and opportunities for growth within our expanding four-location organization.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and passion for working with young children, families, and co-teachers.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Intentional and reflective in professional practices.
• Meets Colorado minimum qualifications for Early Childhood Lead Teacher.
• Experience as a lead teacher in a large Colorado childcare center.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.
• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the lead teacher in developing and implementing inquiry-based curriculum and projects.
• Cultivate a learning environment that supports intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and character development.
• Plan activities for children with special needs with training and support; implement IEPs/behavior plans.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and safety procedures.
• Conduct ongoing observation, assessment, and developmental screenings.
• Communicate regularly with families and involve them in the classroom.
• Contribute to school-wide policies and plan for supplies and budget.
