Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI is seeking a Plating Technician for off-shift (2nd/3rd) and weekend crew to support the Thermatech operation. You will inspect casting surfaces before and after plating, maintain plating baths, mix acid strip baths, and operate the CETCO wastewater unit while following all EHS rules.

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Word/Excel are a plus; previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
