Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Whitehall, MI is seeking an off-shift CVD Technician for Plant 4 Thermatech Coatings Operation. You will operate and control Chemical Vapor Deposition units and build to the production schedule.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, direct a small hourly workforce, maintain tooling inventory, and uphold employee safety and process integrity; overtime may be required during weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of work history or six months of continuous manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Manufacturing experience
• Previous experience in electronics, vacuum furnaces, and manufacturing process troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel a plus

Responsibilities

Qualifications
