Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. seeks an off-shift EBPVD Technician for Plant 4, Thermatech Coatings Operation in Whitehall, MI. This on-site role follows the production schedule and requires hands-on operation of furnaces and related equipment to maintain production flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of manufacturing experience (or six months in continuous manufacturing). Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: manufacturing experience, electronics, vacuum furnaces, and process troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Execute to the production schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Direct small hourly workforce assigned to furnace support operations.
• Maintain tooling inventory.
• Ensure employee safety and process integrity.
• Must be able to work overtime during the week when requested.
