Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a Plating Technician to load machines with a forklift, determine cycles, and set up processes. You will remove baskets with an overhead crane, run tests, and organize production paperwork for smooth workflow. The on-site role requires teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load the machine using a forklift and set cycle requirements for production.
• Operate overhead crane to remove baskets from spinners and place into shipping crates.
• Perform tests with company test equipment and record results accurately.
• Maintain production paperwork and ensure orders flow to the next operation.

Responsibilities

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Plating Technician. In Plating you will load the machine using a forklift, determining cycle required to run product and set up process. After processing, use overhead crane to remove baskets from spinners and dump into shipping crates. Perform tests using certified company test equipment. Organize and record production paperwork, to follow orders as product is completed. Handling customer product in an approved method, ensuring smooth flow to the next operation. Strive to work well with co-workers as a team player, keep work area clean, and perform any other tasks as assigned.

Physical requirements for daily activities (these are estimated, there is not a set routine):

Lift 25 to 50 pounds.

Be able to bend, stoop and climb

Be able to walk and stand on your feet for a full 12-hour shift

Use hand tools, measuring devices, overhead cranes, and forklifts.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work on site in Elroy, WI

40 hour work week…..Mon-Wed 6AM-6PM and Thursday 6AM-11:30AM Overtime as required, based upon customer expectations
