Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a plating technician to perform plating work per the SIFCO Process and to support quoting activities. The role requires adherence to customer specifications and collaboration with Inside Sales to resolve technical questions.

The position involves designing tooling and fixtures, maintaining equipment, and upholding safety and process standards. Travel may be required to meet delivery expectations and customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Essential Job Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outdoor weather conditions
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit.
