Job summary

KI is seeking a Plating Department Operator for our Green Bay manufacturing facility on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2pm–10pm). Starting pay is $21.00/hour with a $2.00/hour shift premium, plus potential overtime in busy seasons.

The role involves operating the plating system, rack handling, and maintaining production efficiency. Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with mechanical inclination and a teamwork mindset.

• Mechanically inclined with manufacturing experience preferred.
• Team player with good communication.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to shift needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate plating department on second shift to meet production schedules.
• Ensure proper operation of plating system and safety standards.
• Rack and un-rack frames as required and maintain system efficiency.
• Maintain production levels and optimize work-bar usage in plating lines.
• Verify chemical titrations and solution levels in plating tanks.

A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

• The proper operation of the plating department on their shift, in order to maintain production schedules and meet the needs of their internal customers.
• Ensure proper operation of the Plating system
• Rack & un-rack various frames
• Maintain production levels and maximize the efficiency of the system by maintaining optimal levels of work bars in operation
• Ensure proper chemical titrations in plating tanks

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment

Shift

• This is a 2nd shift position
• Hours are Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm
• Starting rate of pay is $21.00/hour with a $2.00/hour shift premium
• Overtime during busy season
