Job summary

KI is seeking a full-time Paintline Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on the 2nd shift. The position offers an hourly shift differential of $2.00 and a $1.00/hour raise within the first year.

You will hang hooks on the paint line, apply powder paint, perform color changeovers, tape parts, inspect and pack, and support assembly cells to keep schedules. Starting pay is $19/hour plus a $2.00 shift premium.

• Manually apply powder paint to production parts
• Perform paint color changeovers
• Tape parts coming down from the line to prevent scratches

• Keep record of bad parts

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Paintline Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

Paintline Technicians are responsible for hanging parts/hooks on the paint line, taking hooks off as needed, applying the powder coat paint to the product, performing color changes and taping product coming off the paint line. The Paintline Technicians support the assembly cells and provide them with needed product to meet their final assembly schedules.

• Hang hooks and parts on the Paint line following the identified priorities

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 2nd Shift position
• Hours are 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday
• Overtime during our busy season
• Starting rate of pay is $19/hour plus a shift premium of $2.00/hour
