Job summary

Motive is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that strengthen platform foundations and scale engineering delivery. You will report to the VP of Platform Services Engineering and partner with multiple product and engineering teams.

Ideal candidates bring strong technical judgment, structured program leadership, and the ability to create clarity across ambiguity, dependencies, and competing priorities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical/program management within software, infra, or platform teams.
• Proven, multi-team program leadership with cross-functional dependencies and measurable impact.
• Strong technical fluency for engaging with engineering leadership on architecture and delivery risks.
• Structured program leadership with clear decision making in fast-paced environments.
• Experience aligning senior stakeholders and governance across interdependent teams.
• Bias for action and problem solving over administrative tracking.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational priorities into executable program roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional programs across Platform Services Engineering.
• Manage goals, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and risks with clear operating rhythms.
• Build scalable program mechanisms: roadmap reviews, status reporting, escalation paths, metrics.
• Identify systemic issues and drive durable solutions aligning with objectives.
• Influence stakeholders to make informed trade-offs and move strategic initiatives forward.
• Mentor teams and elevate execution standards within the engineering org.
• Lead Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and executive reporting to align leadership and product partners.
• Collaborate with Product leadership to map roadmaps into multi-team programs.
• Implement dynamic tracking frameworks to flag risks weeks in advance.
