Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Technical Program Manager to serve as the operating backbone of an AI program. You will own cross-team coordination across Product, Design, Engineering, Finance and Revenue, and build the structure, rhythms, and visibility mechanisms for multiple workstreams.

You have 4+ years of Engineering or Technical Program Management experience at startups or high-growth firms. You’ll distill complex status into crisp updates for executives and drive prioritisation with leads across

Qualifications

• 4+ years as an Engineering or Technical Program Manager, with startup or high-growth experience.
• Experience running multiple simultaneous workstreams and managing complex programs.
• Strong executive communication; ability to present status to senior leadership clearly.
• Fluency with AI/ML product development and decisions.
• Builder’s mindset; thrives in ambiguous, low-structure environments.
• Cross-functional influence across Finance, GTM, and engineering leads.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-team program coordination across Product, Design, Engineering, Finance, and Revenue.
• Drive the executive operating cadence and surface risks early.
• Build program infrastructure: roadmaps, status reporting, milestones, and dependency maps.
• Coordinate shared resources and drive prioritisation decisions with leads.
• Support team leads in weekly cadences and standardize progress communication.
• Influence stakeholders across functions who do not report into your org.
