Job summary

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) seeks a TS/SCI-cleared Platform Services Technical Lead to guide the DIA-NDOC D3P modernization. You will oversee Kubernetes-based runtime and shared services, partnering with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable capabilities at Bethesda, MD.

The role blends architecture, delivery, security, and DevOps leadership in an Agile SAFe program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field with 12+ years experience or master's with 10+ years experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Hands-on production Kubernetes administration including cluster lifecycle, upgrades, namespaces, quotas, RBAC.
• Experience operating Elastic or Redis shared platform services with monitoring and HA.
• Experience implementing least privilege, encryption, audit logging, secrets management.
• Experience with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, SLOs, SLIs and capacity planning.
• Strong knowledge of Linux hosting, containers, networking, TLS, and storage.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Helm, Salt, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Experience as a DevOps/Platform/Shared Services/Systems Engineering lead.
• Experience in Agile SAFe programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration, deployment, operation, and sustainment of mission runtime and shared platform services.
• Translate Government priorities into executable technical plans and backlog items.
• Own and prioritize the team backlog and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Guide architecture, engineering, security, automation, and implementation decisions.
• Lead technical discussions, evaluate alternatives, and resolve complex Kubernetes and data-service challenges.
• Balance new capabilities, security findings, defects, operational sustainment, and technical debt.
• Identify and manage technical risks, capacity concerns, dependencies, and impediments.
• Drive execution against Program Increment objectives and sprint commitments.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and demonstrations, retrospectives, and PI Planning.
• Promote automated testing, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, application security, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate progress, status, risks, tradeoffs, and investment needs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and planning for current and future capabilities.
