Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Platform Services Technical Lead to join the DOMEX Technology Platform modernization effort, deploying and sustaining mission-critical application-runtime capabilities at the Bethesda, MD location. Lead a multidisciplinary team, translate mission needs into development plans, manage backlogs, and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable solutions through SAFe practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 10+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production, including lifecycle management, upgrades, and RBAC.
• Experience operating Elastic and Redis in production with monitoring, scaling, and HA.
• Experience implementing platform security and hardening, including least-privilege, encryption, and audit logging.
• Experience with observability tooling: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, SLOs/SLIs.
• Strong Linux hosting, containers, networking, DNS, TLS, and storage concepts.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Helm, Salt, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience as DevOps/Platform/Shared Services Lead in Agile, SAFe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for deployment and sustainment of mission applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission requirements into development plans.
• Own and prioritize the team backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Guide architectural decisions and balance security, debt, and evolution.
• Drive PI objectives and SAFe ceremonies; promote CI/CD and IaC practices.
