Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is seeking a Platform Services Technical Lead to drive Kubernetes-based runtime capabilities and shared services for the DIA-D3P modernization. You will lead cross-functional teams, align government priorities to technical plans, and own the backlog in a high-security environment.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph. Most work is onsite in Bethesda, MD, with potential flexible scheduling based on deliverables and client

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
• Hands‑on production Kubernetes administration including cluster lifecycle, upgrades, configuration, namespaces, tenancy, quotas, limits, capacity planning, RBAC, troubleshooting.
• Experience operating Elastic, Redis, or comparable shared platform services with scaling, monitoring, high availability, backup, recovery, upgrades, and incident response.
• Experience implementing least privilege, vulnerability remediation, secure baselines, encryption, audit logging, and secrets management.
• Experience with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, SLOs, SLIs, capacity monitoring, and root‑cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Linux hosting, containers, networking, DNS, TLS, certificates, and storage.
• Experience using automation/configuration tools like CloudFormation, Helm, Salt, Ansible.
• Experience as a DevOps/Platform/Systems Engineering lead and in Agile SAFe programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration, deployment, operation, and sustainment of mission runtime and shared platform services.
• Translate Government priorities into executable technical plans and backlog items.
• Own and prioritize team backlog and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Guide architecture, engineering, security, automation, and implementation decisions.
• Lead technical discussions and resolve complex Kubernetes, Linux, data-service, and infrastructure challenges.
• Balance new capabilities with security findings, defects, and technical debt.
• Identify risks, capacity concerns, dependencies, and impediments.
• Drive execution against PI Objectives and sprint commitments.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and demonstrations, and PI Planning.
• Promote automated testing, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and application security.
• Communicate progress, risks, and investment needs to stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation and design reviews.
