Job summary

Quant seeks a Platform Reliability Technical Lead in New York to own critical on-call escalations and define runbooks for the production estate. You will drive reliability improvements and ensure postmortems translate into lasting fixes.

You will work closely with protocol engineers to address deep technical challenges where state matters, keeping you hands-on and technically focused rather than moving into management.

Qualifications

• Serious depth in reliability or production engineering.
• Kubernetes, Terraform and Helm at the level where you debug them.
• Distributed systems where state matters and restarting is not a strategy.
• To write things down. If the only record of how the platform works is in your head, nothing has been fixed.

Responsibilities

• Be the final escalation on production issues and oversee runbooks.
• Define and enforce incident response, alerting, and postmortems.
• Work closely with protocol engineers to align on behavior.
• Maintain technical depth and stay hands-on rather than move to management.
