Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of experience, deep distributed systems expertise, and strong leadership. This role emphasizes AWS, Java/JavaScript, and modern cloud patterns in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of related experience.
• Two+ years of development experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience designing, building, and operating production platforms.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture.
• Strong technical leadership and influence skills.
• Expertise in Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on AWS and modern cloud patterns.
• Observability/telemetry platform experience; Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and evolution of PWTech reliability engineering platforms.
• Design and build production-grade software and platforms that improve reliability outcomes.
• Drive enterprise observability and diagnostics capabilities.
• Define and codify resilient application and platform patterns.
• Influence engineering teams and technology leaders across the organization.
• Lead the resolution of complex reliability and production challenges.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
