Job summary

FreedomPay seeks a Platform Operations Analyst to safeguard the stability and availability of its production platforms. You will maintain live services, respond to incidents, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues in a fast-paced fintech environment.

This role requires 4+ years in financial technology, strong communication, and expertise with monitoring tools, SQL Server, and API integrations. Hybrid work with potential travel supports the business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or related field.
• 4+ years in fintech/transaction processing or similar.
• Experience with web-based platforms with network, database, and application layer dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of transaction processing concepts, payment gateways, and real-time processing.
• Proficiency with APM and log tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, SQL Sentry).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack; API integration and data analysis are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency and health.
• Identify root causes of service degradation and communicate findings.
• Collaborate with third parties, partners, and internal teams on issues.
• Write and refine knowledge base articles and operational docs.
• Improve system reliability with infrastructure and development teams.
• Create alerts and handle on-call and weekend coverage.
• Assist in post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
• Understand FreedomPay platform to resolve issues.
